What should I do if the newsletter is ending up in my junk email folder?
Check your junk mail folder and mark the email newsletter found there as "not spam", then move it into your inbox. Add the email address "mrma@proassurance.com" and the domain "ProAssurance.com" to your approved senders list. You may also need to notify your organization's email administrator and have him/her make sure proassurance.com messages are not flagged as SPAM. ProAssurance will only use your email address for appropriate business and communication.
What if the newsletter is not in my inbox or even in my spam folder?
If you are a new subscriber, there may be a typographical error in the email address entered. Go to the newsletter preferences page, enter your email address and click “View Subscriptions”. All the ProAssurance newsletters we offer by email will appear with a checkbox. Check the ones you want to receive and click “Save”.
If the newsletter is checked and its not showing up in either your inbox or in your junk mail folder, it is possible that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is filtering mail before delivery. Check the spam policy on your ISP's website, you may be able to create an approved senders list. If there is no option to customize your settings, you can email your ISP or system administrator about the problem. For example, “Hello, I subscribed to a newsletter from ProAssurance.com which I am not receiving. Is it possible that server-side spam filters are blocking this legitimate sender? I would appreciate it if you could investigate this and white-list " ProAssurance.com" and " mrma_newsletter@proassurance.com".
