Risk Management Educational Events
ProAssurance companies offer accredited Continuing Medical Education courses through ProAssurance Indemnity Company, Inc., which is accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor Category One CME courses for physicians. In addition to our live seminars, we offer
both online education and private sessions on a variety of topics for larger clinics and groups.
Medical Practice Site Survey
At your request, we complete a Medical Practice Site Survey at your office to identify your office-practice risk exposures and develop risk-reduction strategies. The
Survey involves a detailed, on-site, risk management evaluation conducted by a ProAssurance Risk Management Consultant. The Survey addresses over ten areas within your
medical practice, including communication, scheduling, and documentation. You receive a detailed report from us soon after our office visit (containing actionable recommendations
to decrease your risk exposure), along with resource material to assist your efforts. If a Risk Management Consultant has recently conducted an on-site Survey for you, please
give us your feedback by completing this short, six-question form.
Risk Management Self Assessment
ProAssurance insureds may also complete an anonymous Risk Management Self Assessment.
Completing this assessment is a first step to proactively reducing risk exposure in your practice.
Start by answering, to the best of your knowledge, a series of questions about professional liability risks. Based on your answers,
you will be given recommendations for addressing areas of possible exposure. Once finished, you will have a better understanding of
your practice's risks and be able to form an action plan.
