Moderate Sedation Online Program
Moderate sedation is used in a variety of practice settings to increase the comfort of patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures and may be administered by non-anesthesia-trained physicians and dentists.
This program, for both physicians and dentists, is designed to increase understanding and knowledge of responsibilities in the use of moderate sedation. It enables participants to learn more about the potential risks associated with the administration of moderate sedation, including patient selection, assessment, monitoring, and recognizing/responding to complications.
