Online Loss Prevention Seminars
Patient Tracking & Follow-Up
Learning Objectives:
Participation in this seminar will better enable participants to:
- Understand the consequences of miscommunication or loss of important patient information;
and
- Create successful patient tracking and follow-up systems for medical practices.
Course Description:
Poor outcomes and malpractice claims related to miscommunication or loss of patient
information are all too common. Physicians can significantly reduce their risk of
lawsuits from patients who "fell through the cracks" by developing and using patient
tracking and follow-up systems. Once tailored to a specific practice, these systems
also have the potential to increase practice efficiency and patient compliance.
