Online Loss Prevention Seminars for Physicians

Turning Points — Tough Decisions in Loss Prevention

Objectives
Participation in this seminar will better enable participants to:

  • Identify non-clinical choices and accompanying risks involved in the practice of medicine;
  • Choose courses of action that have the greatest impact on patient safety and the least amount of risk; and
  • Document decisions made in a manner that is in the best interests of the patient and the physician.

Course Description
This seminar will focus on the non-clinical choices you face in your daily practice of medicine. While your clinical judgment is used regularly in making treatment decisions and recommendations, you also apply that judgment to non-clinical decisions that may be equally important to the outcome of a professional liability lawsuit. This seminar will help you both identify key turning points and choose the points of least risk.
